Sanrio characters are featured in several upcoming commercial collaborations and official merchandise releases.

Coneri, a confectionery company, will launch a second collaboration with Hello Kitty starting September 1, 2026. This airport-exclusive collection features stick pies with flavors such as Venezuelan cacao, sakura, and Shizuoka matcha, designed for travelers at major Japanese airports including Haneda, Narita, and Chubu Centrair.

Additionally, a collaboration between Sanrio Characters, New Era, and HOMEGAME will release a collection of embroidered caps featuring Hello Kitty, My Melody, and Kuromi starting August 28.

In preparation for the 2026 Aichi-Nagoya Asian Games, official licensed goods featuring Sanrio characters like Hello Kitty, Cinnamoroll, and Pompompurin will be released in early September 2026. The first wave of products includes acrylic keychains, stickers, and apparel, intended to promote the sporting event through various retail locations and official shops.
