Sanrio characters exhibition Hotel Floria Tokyo to open in Shinjuku

The immersive exhibition “Sanrio characters Exhibition Hotel Floria Tokyo” is scheduled to run at the Tokyu Kabukicho Tower from July 15, 2026, to May 31, 2027. Based on a successful concept originally held in South Korea, the event is a collaboration between the South Korean creative production company d'strict and the Sanrio Group, co-hosted in Japan by Sony Creative Products.

The exhibition is designed as a “dream hotel” where guests can experience the worlds of various Sanrio characters through digital technology, sound, and immersive spatial design. Featured areas include themed environments such as a garden for Little Twin Stars, a beach for Pochacco, and a pool for Hangyodon. For the Japanese iteration, organizers added new elements, including personalized message boards from the characters to enhance the sense of hospitality.

A seasonal “Kawaii HALLOWEEN Party” will also take place from October 3 to October 31, 2026. This limited-time event will feature Halloween-themed decorations, special content in the garden and ballroom areas, and themed merchandise, centered around the character Kuromi.
