Sanrio characters featured on Morinaga Choco Ball packaging

Morinaga & Co. has launched a collaboration between its Choco Ball confectionery and Sanrio characters. The limited-edition packaging features popular characters such as Cinnamoroll, Hello Kitty, Pompompurin, and Pochacco appearing alongside the brand mascot, Kyoro-chan.

Specific character designs are tied to different flavors: Cinnamoroll appears on Peanut flavor, Pompompurin on Caramel, and Hello Kitty on Strawberry. Additionally, a new Double Chocolate variety featuring Pochacco is scheduled for release on November 4. To celebrate the launch, a campaign will run from November 4 to December 3, offering original goods—including blankets, sweatshirts, and tote bags—to 1,000 participants via receipt entries.
