Sanrio launches new Coca‑Cola vending‑machine tie‑ins and gummy‑charm treats in Japan

Sanrio is expanding its merchandise line with two collaborations set for early 2027. Sanrio Puroland, Harmonyland, Oita Hello Kitty Airport and Taito Station Tamacent will host specially wrapped Coca‑Cola Bottlers Japan vending machines featuring Sanrio characters such as Kuromi and Hapidanbu. The machines, promoting the "紅茶花伝" tea brand, will be available until February 2027.

In addition, Sanrio will debut a "トゥンカロン"‑style gummy‑charm product. Each set includes a plush‑looking charm and a soft “fluffy‑mogu” gummy, priced at ¥350 (¥385 tax). The line features eight popular characters – Hello Kitty, Cinnamoroll, My Melody, Kuromi, Pompompurin, Pochacco, Badtz‑Maru and Hangyodon – plus a secret extra, and will roll out nationwide in January 2027 at mass‑retail candy aisles.
