Sanrio to globally release rhythm game ‘Sanrio Kawaii Me Live!’ in 2027

Sanrio has announced the global release of ‘Sanrio Kawaii Me Live!’, the first smartphone dance and rhythm game from its Sanrio Games brand, scheduled for January 2027. Pre-registration for the title began on September 21.

Players can engage in rhythm games featuring popular Sanrio characters such as Hello Kitty, My Melody, and Kuromi, while also customizing character outfits and stage settings. The game will feature original songs written specifically for the title by several Universal Music artists, including Soala, SHE'S, Lienel, Polkadot Stingray, Yabai T-shirts Yasan, and Mi'Line Hearts. Additionally, a musical tie-up has been confirmed with the music unit ‘Zutto Mayonaka de Ii no ni.’

To celebrate the launch, a special music live event titled ‘Sanrio Kawaii Me Live! Release Commemorative Live’ will be held on January 14, 2027, at Yokohama Kannai Hall. The event is expected to feature the tie-up artists, the 3D-look artist ‘KUROMI’, and various Sanrio characters.
