Sanrio to release retro Hello Kitty pixel light

Sanrio is introducing a new Hello Kitty pixel light featuring a retro, digital-inspired design. The product uses a dot-based 3D design to depict the character in her signature red ribbon and blue overalls.

A unique feature of the light is its interactive audio gimmick; it plays Hello Kitty’s voice when switched on and off. Pre-orders are scheduled to begin in late September 2026 via the kota official online shop and other retailers, with shipping expected in early November 2026. The device is USB Type-C powered and priced at 4,999 yen (excluding tax).
