Sanrio's Hello Kitty Themed Hotel Exhibition Opens in Tokyo

Hotel Floria Tokyo has launched the Hotel Floria TokyoSanrio Characters Exhibition at the Tokyu Kabukicho Tower in Shinjuku. The attraction, which will run until May 2027, lets visitors check in, receive a character‑themed Luc‑Key pass and explore eleven elaborately designed rooms inspired by Sanrio icons such as Hello Kitty, My Melody, Kuromi, Pompopurin and Cinnamoroll. The concept was created by Korean design firm D’strict and is presented as a museum‑style experience rather than a traditional overnight stay.

Each room recreates a private world for a different character, and the venue also includes a garden, pond, art gallery, dedicated photo zone and an indoor beach. Hotel Floria says the exhibition aims to let adults reconnect with childhood memories while offering children a chance to discover the characters for the first time.
