Sansiri Capital to acquire The Lake Como EDITION hotel

Bain Capital and Omnam Group have announced the sale of The Lake Como EDITION to Sansiri Capital, the hospitality trophy asset fund of the Thai real estate developer Sansiri Public Company Limited.

The transaction follows a major redevelopment of the 19th-century palazzo located in Cadenabbia, Italy. Originally acquired by Bain Capital and Omnam Group in late 2021, the property underwent an extensive repositioning to become a five-star luxury destination. The hotel officially opened in March 2026 as part of Marriott International’s EDITION Hotels portfolio.

The sale is expected to be completed within the next several weeks, subject to customary closing conditions and third-party approvals. Financial terms for the deal were not disclosed.
