A dispute has emerged following an incident at the Sant Antoni de Portmany health center involving a patient and medical staff. The patient claims that after seeking treatment for foot injuries sustained in a fall, they were treated with hostility by a physician and subsequently forcibly removed from the facility by a hospital orderly. The patient alleges they were struck in the face during the altercation and required medical attention at Hospital Can Misses for injuries to their hand, arm, shoulder, and neck.

Conversely, the Ibiza and Formentera Health Area has released a statement presenting an opposing version of events. Health officials state that the user was aggressive and conflictive from the moment they entered the consultation. According to the health area, the individual attempted to record the encounter on video, leading the attending physician to file a report for verbal aggression.
