Sant Cugat Eixample district sees new residential construction
Two new residential buildings are under construction in the Eixample district of Sant Cugat. The project, located on a plot spanning approximately 1,800 square meters between Carrer de Bergara, Barcelona, Vallcarca, and Elisenda Ribatallada, will consist of 12 apartments in total. Each of the two buildings will house six units, with each apartment featuring at least 139 square meters, four bedrooms, and two bathrooms, along with parking and storage spaces.
The development follows the demolition of a single-family home and several complementary structures previously on the site. The Eixample is noted as one of the most expensive areas in Sant Cugat. According to data from Idealista, existing properties in the neighborhood are listed starting at 710,000 euros, with most exceeding one million euros. New construction prices in the area are significantly higher, with examples cited at 1.8 million euros for a 200-square-meter apartment.
