Sant Fost launches tender for 46 electric microcars
The government of Sant Fost has launched a tender for a shared mobility project involving the acquisition of 46 electric microcars. The project, estimated at 404,800 euros excluding VAT, aims to provide a car-sharing service for the municipality.
To support this initiative, the local council has already installed 88 charging points throughout the town. The requested vehicles must be category L6e light quadricycles, which are 100% electric, have a maximum speed of 45 km/h, and can be driven by individuals with an AM license (available from age 15). The microcars must be green, measure less than 2.5 x 1.4 meters, and include features such as geolocation, mobile app connectivity, and sensors to monitor the physical state of doors and compartments.
