Sant Quirze del Vallès: Driver killed in C-58 highway accident

A driver died on Monday evening after their vehicle veered off the C-58 highway and fell down an embankment in Sant Quirze del Vallès. The accident occurred at approximately 19:06 at kilometer point 14.7.

The driver was the sole occupant of the vehicle and died due to the impact of the fall. Emergency services, including the Mossos d’Esquadra, firefighters, and medical units, responded to the scene to confirm the fatality and restore traffic on the busy metropolitan route.

The Mossos d’Esquadra are leading the investigation to determine the exact causes of the loss of control. This incident brings the total number of fatalities on Catalonia's interurban road network this year to 88.
