Santa Ana woman dies after dog attack

A 93-year-old woman, identified as Marta Moral, has died following a dog attack in Santa Ana, Misiones. The incident occurred around 11:30 a.m. on Friday when the woman entered the backyard of a neighboring property where a mixed-breed dog was tied up.

Following the attack, the victim was transported by the homeowner to the Hospital Escuela de Agudos Dr. Ramón Madariaga in Posadas. Despite receiving medical attention, she suffered a cardiorespiratory arrest at approximately 3:30 p.m. and passed away. The Misiones Police are investigating the circumstances of the attack.
