Santa Barbara County hosts second annual Tails of Hope fundraiser

The Santa Barbara County Animal Care Foundation hosted its second annual Tails of Hope fundraiser at Rancho La Patera & Stow House in Goleta. The event brought together over 300 community members, volunteers, and celebrity guests, including Bo Derek and John Corbett, to raise funds for animals served by Santa Barbara County Animal Services.

Proceeds from the event, which included silent and live auctions, support essential resources for animals in the county shelter system. These resources cover costs for surgeries, laboratory work, behavioral training, and veterinary care, particularly for animals that require extra assistance to become adoptable.

In addition to fundraising, the event featured adoptable dogs, cats, and rabbits, allowing attendees to meet animals looking for homes. Entertainment included live auctions led by Jim Nye and performances by the SB Bubble Guy crew.
