Santa Casa institutions host medical workshops and symposia

Santa Casa de Votuporanga is hosting the 1st Neurological Neonatal ICU Workshop to discuss neuroprotection and intensive care for premature infants and babies with neurological complications. Held in partnership with PBSF (Protecting the Brain, Saving Futures), the event focuses on topics such as perinatal asphyxia management, therapeutic hypothermia, and neurological monitoring to improve newborn quality of life.

Separately, the multidisciplinary pediatric team from Santa Casa de Marília participated in the 2nd Care Transition Symposium at the University of São Paulo Faculty of Medicine (FMUSP). The team presented institutional advancements regarding patient safety and the continuity of care as patients move between different levels of healthcare or return to their families.
