Itajaí’s 40th Festa Nacional do Colono draws over 160,000 attendees

The 40th edition of the Festa Nacional do Colono took place in Itajaí, Santa Catarina, from July 22‑26 2026 at the Parque do Agricultor Gilmar Graf. Over the four‑day event more than 160 000 visitors attended a mix of agricultural fairs, sports competitions, workshops and concerts.

The final night featured the sertaneja duo Rionegro & Solimões, attracting about 75 000 people, while a Saturday evening show by Zezé Di Camargo drew over 30 000 spectators, contributing to a total daily attendance of 65 000. Other performers included Lucas Walker, Carlos Cória and Legião Gaúcha. The festival also hosted the opening of the 29th ExpoFeira Agropecuária, animal judging, and various cultural activities.

Organizers highlighted the event’s role in promoting rural heritage and community cohesion, noting the enthusiastic response from attendees ranging from local farmers to tourists.
