João Pessoa expands road‑patching operation across 36 neighborhoods

The João Pessoa municipal Secretariat of Infrastructure (Seinfra) continued its daily "tapa‑buraco" program, sealing potholes in 36 neighborhoods on Friday, June 26. Teams from the Directorate of Road Maintenance and Drainage worked from 8 a.m. in districts such as Jardim Cidade Universitária, Bessa, Aeroclube, Jardim Veneza, Gramame, Mangabeira, Castelo Branco, Centro, Cristo Redentor, Alto do Céu, Pedro Gondim, Muçumagro, Água Fria and many others. In addition to pothole repairs, crews cleaned and cleared drainage galleries to improve traffic flow and safety.

Residents can request road‑maintenance services, including pothole filling, drainage work, earthworks and street lighting, through the free mobile app “João Pessoa na Palma da Mão,” available on Google Play and the Apple App Store.
