Santa Catarina job growth drives demand for compact real estate

Santa Catarina recorded over 63,000 new formal jobs in the first half of 2026, marking the fourth-largest job growth surplus in Brazil. This employment surge is driving increased demand for compact real estate, particularly in the state's Northern Coast, as workers migrate from other regions.

According to the FipeZAP Index, one-bedroom properties achieved the highest average annual profitability at 6.77%. In response to this trend, NXK Empreendimentos is developing the Ankara Towers in Camboriú, a project featuring studios and two-bedroom apartments designed to cater to professionals seeking proximity to employment hubs and major transit routes like the BR-101.
