Santa Catarina launches initiative for municipal asphalt laboratories

The Court of Accounts of Santa Catarina (TCE/SC) has launched a pilot project to improve the quality of asphalt paving works in municipal territories. The initiative focuses on training and supporting municipal associations in the creation and structuring of asphalt laboratories.

These laboratories will allow local governments to verify the quality of materials and services used in road construction. The project aims to ensure that infrastructure investments result in safe and durable roads. The first training session took place in Maravilha, with subsequent agreements planned for other regions, such as the Association of Municipalities of the Laguna Region (Amurel).
