Santa Catarina launches Mental Health Week for socio-educational system

The Court of Justice of Santa Catarina (TJSC), through its Monitoring and Inspection Group of Prison and Socio-educational Systems (GMF), conducted the first Mental Health Week within the state's socio-educational system. The initiative spanned various judicial districts and targeted both adolescents undergoing socio-educational measures and the professionals working within these units.

The program included lectures, workshops, and discussion groups focusing on emotional management, interpersonal relationships, substance abuse prevention, self-esteem, and social belonging. In Tubarão, activities were held in partnership with the State Council for the Rights of Children and Adolescents (CEDCA/SC) and Psychosocial Care Centers (Caps), offering workshops on self-knowledge and personal transformation.
