Santa Catarina launches two public‑sector hiring exams

The State Treasury Department of Santa Catarina (Sefaz SC) signed a contract with Fundação Carlos Chagas (FCC) to organize a new public‑service exam offering 50 auditor positions. The vacancies are divided among accounting, computer science, law, administration/engineering and economics, with an initial salary of about R$15,112.36. The exam will consist of objective tests with 180 questions per candidate and is expected to be held in Florianópolis.

Separately, Celesc Distribuição S.A. published an edital for a recruitment process covering reserve‑list positions across technical, medium‑level and higher‑education roles. Salaries range from R$2,709.97 to R$6,905.11, and the exam, organized by the Fundação de Estudos e Pesquisas Socioeconômicos (FEPESE) of the Federal University of Santa Catarina, is scheduled for 1 November 2026 in several cities including Chapecó, Criciúma, Florianópolis, Joinville and Lages. Positions include analysts, engineers, doctors, electricians and other technical staff.
