Brazilian municipalities publish dozens of public job openings

Municipal governments in several Brazilian states announced public‑service selection processes for 2026. In Aracruz (ES) a reserve register for teachers and pedagogues was opened, while Santa Leopoldina (ES) launched a simplified hiring for a psychologist. Serra Nova Dourada (MT) posted 15 vacancies ranging from teaching to nursing and school‑transport roles. Jaru (RO), Ponte Nova (MG), Casimiro de Abreu (RJ), Umuarama (PR) and other cities released dozens of positions for health agents, technical staff, drivers, construction workers and administrative aides. Salaries vary from roughly R$ 1,754 for entry‑level roles to R$ 13,671 for municipal doctors, with some vacancies paying up to R$ 8,500 in the Federal District’s labor agencies, which offered 803 jobs in a single day. Application periods run mainly from late July to early August 2026, with most processes conducted online; fees range from R$ 60 to R$ 125, and fee exemptions are provided for low‑income applicants.
