Chapecó to host major Santa Catarina history conference
Chapecó will host the 21st State History Meeting of the National Association of History – Santa Catarina Section (ANPUH-SC) from August 18 to 21. Considered the largest scientific event in the field within the state, the gathering will take place at the Federal University of the Southern Border (UFFS) campus.
The theme for this year is “Frontiers, migrations and decolonial experience in times of climate crises.” The event aims to bring together approximately 300 researchers, professors, and students from various Brazilian institutions to discuss contemporary historiographical themes and strengthen exchanges between research and teaching institutions.
The program includes thematic symposiums, round tables, lectures, forums, workshops, and book launches. Activities are open to the public, with free registration available for those wishing to attend as listeners.
