Santa Catarina orchestras perform at Campos do Jordão festival and Florianópolis concert

The Orquestra Filarmônica Catarinense returned for a third consecutive year to the Festival Internacional de Inverno de Campos do Jordão, presenting two free concerts on July 25 and 26 under artistic director Pablo Rossi. The program featured violinists Nathalia Oliveira and Vinícius Abad and included works by Vivaldi and Piazzolla.

On July 25, Expresso Rural and the Camerata Florianópolis marked ten years of collaboration with a concert at Teatro Ademir Rosa in Florianópolis. The event premiered the previously unreleased song “Viajar,” composed by Robson Dias in 1981 and newly arranged for orchestra by Victor Lanzoni. The performance was conducted by maestro Jeferson Della Rocca and featured the band’s members alongside the orchestra.
