Santa Catarina Senate race shows technical tie between candidates

A Neokemp/OCP News poll regarding the Senate race in Santa Catarina shows a competitive landscape for the two available seats. In the first round of voting, Carol De Toni (PL) leads with 25.5%, followed closely by Carlos Bolsonaro (PL) at 24.2%. Due to a 3.1 percentage point margin of error, these two candidates are considered to be in a technical tie.

In the second vote scenario, the dynamics shift. Esperidião Amin (PP) leads with 22.8%, nearly tied with De Toni at 22.4%. When combining the two votes, De Toni holds 47.9%, Bolsonaro has 40.3%, and Amin has 38.8%. The data indicates significant movement, with Amin showing growth in second-vote intentions and Bolsonaro seeing a decline compared to previous months.

Regarding the gubernatorial race, Jorginho Mello (PL) maintains a substantial lead with 51.6% of the intended votes, ahead of João Rodrigues (PSD) at 22.4% and Gelson Merisio (PSB) at 12.3%. Mello's position is supported by a 65.5% approval rating for his administration.
