Santa Catarina towns announce temporary civil and health hires

The municipal government of Vargem, Santa Catarina, issued an emergency public tender to temporarily hire one civil engineer. The contract will run for up to 12 months, extendable to 24 months, with a monthly salary of R$ 9,746.64 plus a meal allowance. Applications are accepted from 2 to 9 July 2026 and will be evaluated on title analysis.

The municipality of Tubarão, also in Santa Catarina, opened a simplified selection process for two immediate health‑service positions – a dental office clerk, a basic health‑family assistant, and a nursing technician – with a reserve list. Contracts are temporary under the General Social Security Regime, with salaries ranging from R$ 2,439.45 to R$ 2,845.95. Candidates must apply online between 12 July and 31 July 2026; a written exam is scheduled for 5 August 2026, followed by a title‑assessment phase.
