Santa Catarina updates: FCF president re-elected and new IFC technical courses

Rubens Angelotti has been re-elected as the president of the Santa Catarina Football Federation (FCF) by acclamation. His new term is scheduled to run from April 12, 2027, to April 12, 2031. Angelotti, who previously assumed the presidency following the death of Delfim Pádua Peixoto Filho in 2016, stated his intention to continue working with transparency to maintain the prominence of Santa Catarina football on the national stage.

In educational developments, the Federal Institute of Santa Catarina (IFC) Blumenau Campus has announced two new technical courses integrated with high school education for 2027: Electrotechnics and Mechanical Manufacturing. Each new course will offer 35 vacancies. These will join the existing Informatics and Mechatronics programs, bringing the total to 175 vacancies across four technical tracks. The courses are three-year, full-time programs designed to provide students with both a high school diploma and a technical certification.
