Santa Catarina's Sine holds job fairs in five municipalities

The State Secretariat of Industry, Commerce and Services (SICOS) coordinated by Sine/SC is running a series of employment fairs in the southern part of Santa Catarina. The events start on 18 June in Araranguá’s Praça Hercílio Luz and continue in Forquilhinha (23 June, Câmara de Vereadores), Balneário Arroio do Silva (25 June, Centro Multiuso Esther Pacheco Mucillo), Tubarão (30 June, Praça 7 de Setembro) and finish on 2 July in Laguna’s Mercado Público Municipal. The fairs aim to connect employers with job‑seekers, offering on‑site interviews, resumes collection and market guidance.

In the same period, the Sine network reported more than 8,100 vacancies across the state, of which 240 are reserved for people with disabilities. The largest share of openings is concentrated in the Vale do Itajaí, Greater Florianópolis and the northern region, together accounting for over 64 % of the total positions.
