Santa Clara defeats Académico de Viseu 1-0 in I Liga

In the second round of the I Liga, Santa Clara defeated Académico de Viseu 1-0 at the Fontelo Stadium. The match, which marked Académico de Viseu's return to the top flight after 37 years, was decided in the 14th minute by a penalty converted by Gonçalo Paciência following a foul by Rúben Pereira.
