Santa Clarita community events to support Old Town Newhall fire recovery

Community events are being organized in Santa Clarita to support local businesses following the devastating Main Fire on August 24, which destroyed several structures in Old Town Newhall, including the Newhall Refinery, Care Tucker Style House, and The MAIN.

On Sunday, September 13, a pop-up event for Care Tucker Style House will be held at Tribute Beauty Lounge in Newhall from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. to assist the business with its recovery efforts.

Additionally, the City of Santa Clarita will host a SENSES Block Party on Thursday, September 17, from 7:00 to 10:00 p.m. on Main Street. The event will feature a community art wall to honor impacted businesses and an outdoor silent auction to benefit those affected by the fire. A separate ticketed benefit, ‘Love on Main,’ will also take place during the festivities to provide further support to the community members, employees, and artists impacted by the blaze.
