Santa Coloma de Queralt residents ordered to confine due to industrial fire

Firefighters have issued a preventive confinement order for the population of Santa Coloma de Queralt in the Conca de Barberà region due to smoke from an industrial warehouse fire. The blaze occurred near the C-2141d road.

No injuries have been reported. During the incident, the roof of the affected warehouse collapsed. Emergency services worked from the exterior of the building to extinguish the flames and prevent the fire from spreading to nearby facilities. While the fire did not reach office areas or a neighboring warehouse containing flammable products, it did consume several empty tanks.

Civil Protection has advised residents to keep doors and windows closed if smoke reaches their homes.
