Santa Cruz and Figueirante push ahead with SAF football restructurings

Santa Cruz president Bruno Rodrigues said the club’s SAF conversion is in its final stages after an investor met in Recife, reviewing the proposal to purchase Cobra Coral Investimentos’ stake. Rodrigues confirmed that funds have been set aside for the transition and that the stadium Arruda will be used under a lease arrangement rather than a permanent transfer, simplifying the deal.

Figueirante’s SAF council, led by president Eduardo Mafra, held a press conference stressing caution and legal security as negotiations with investor Pansports continue. The council highlighted the unresolved debt with creditor Clave/Lift, which contributed roughly R$ 28 million to the club, and reiterated its commitment to transparency and a smooth transition before the final contract signing.
