Santa Cruz de Tenerife consumer vouchers generate 28,000 euros

The first session of the ‘Bonos Consumo Domingo’ in Santa Cruz de Tenerife generated over 28,000 euros across 31 participating businesses. According to the city council, 1,137 of the 1,200 available vouchers were sold, representing a redemption rate of 99.92%.

The program, promoted by the Santa Cruz de Tenerife City Council and FAUCA, allows customers to purchase 25-euro vouchers for only 12.50 euros, with the remaining half subsidized. The initiative targets retail businesses located within the city’s High Tourist Attraction Zone (ZGAT).

Following this initial success, 1,263 new vouchers are scheduled to go on sale on Friday, October 9, for use on Sunday, October 11. Vouchers are sold via the web every Friday and must be used on the specific Sunday indicated on the voucher at participating establishments.
