Santa Cruz de Tenerife hosts 23rd International Comic and Illustration Salon

The 23rd International Comic and Illustration Salon of Tenerife is being held in Santa Cruz de Tenerife, featuring over one hundred activities and 24 exhibitions across various locations in the municipality. The event aims to revitalize local culture and commerce by bringing together fans of comic books and illustration.

As part of the programming, the La Recova Art Center has reopened its doors to the salon after a three-year absence due to rehabilitation works. The center is hosting four free exhibitions available until November 6, including displays dedicated to the ‘Star Wars’ and ‘Masters of the Universe’ franchises. One specific exhibition, ‘Los cómics de las galaxias’, showcases Star Wars comics published by Marvel Comics between 1977 and 1986, featuring reproductions of covers and interior pages from various international editions.
