Santa Cruz de Tenerife hosts inaugural Mojitos Vacilón Fest
Santa Cruz de Tenerife will host the inaugural Mojitos Vacilón Fest this Saturday, September 12, at the Alameda del Duque de Santa Elena. The event, running from 12:00 to 23:00, is designed to celebrate the cultural and historical ties between the Canary Islands and Cuba through music, dance, and gastronomy.
The festival expects between 3,500 and 5,000 attendees. The programming includes live music from Calle Obispo and DJ Sistah Vibes, alongside dance workshops and exhibitions led by Cuban choreographer Aradance. The event also features El Caracol, a well-known establishment from Playa de Las Teresitas.
In addition to entertainment, the festival includes a dedicated gastronomic area with various food trucks and restaurants, as well as a commercial zone featuring local businesses from the city center. Family-friendly activities and a children's area will also be available throughout the day.
