Santa Cruz de Tenerife receives three bids for Parque Santa Catalina renovation

Three companies have submitted bids for the comprehensive remodeling of the Parque Santa Catalina de La Gallega in the Southwest District of Santa Cruz de Tenerife. The competing entities are Asch Infraestructuras y Servicios, S.A.; a joint venture (UTE) composed of Conacon, S.A.U. and Construcciones Sando, S.A.U.; and Probisa Vías y Obras, S.L.U.

The project involves the transformation of over 10,000 square meters, prioritizing universal accessibility, inclusion, and sustainability. Planned improvements include paving, lighting, water management, landscaping, and the creation of inclusive play areas. The initiative was expanded from a smaller inclusive playground project into a full-scale integral intervention following a June 2024 agreement between the City Council and the Cabildo de Tenerife under the Suroeste Avanza program.

Contracting boards will now evaluate the proposals based on established criteria. The City Council expects construction to begin during the final quarter of 2026, following the completion of administrative procedures. The project is supported by a specific subsidy of 1,246,938.06 euros from the Cabildo de Tenerife.
