Santa Cruz de Tenerife sees commercial boost from vouchers and new restaurant opening

Local commerce in Santa Cruz de Tenerife is seeing significant activity through two distinct developments. The ‘Bonos Consumo’ initiative, promoted by the City Council and FAUCA, has injected over 307,000 euros into local businesses within 30 days. Mayor José Manuel Bermúdez reported that 78.57% of the total issued vouchers have already been redeemed, with high participation rates in districts such as Suroeste and Ofra-Costa Sur.

In the hospitality sector, Grupo Compostelana has expanded its presence in the capital by opening a new restaurant and pizzeria at the Parque Bulevar terrace. The family-owned group, which has operated in Tenerife since the late 1980s, continues to diversify its Mediterranean and international cuisine offerings across the island.
