Santa Cruz de Tenerife to unveil 2027 Carnival poster

The Santa Cruz de Tenerife Carnival 2027 will begin its preliminary celebrations on Friday, October 16, with the official unveiling of its poster. The event, organized by the City Council, will take place at Plaza del Príncipe starting at 20:30.

The upcoming edition is themed ‘Roma Eterna: El imperio del Carnaval’ (Eternal Rome: The Empire of Carnival). The unveiling ceremony will feature the five finalists of the popular contest, with the winner receiving a prize of 12,000 euros. Following the announcement, a public celebration will be held featuring performances by Puerto Rican singer Tonny Tun Tun and the Maquinaria Band.

While this event serves as a symbolic start, the official programming for the carnival is scheduled to begin on January 22, 2027, with the Inaugural Gala.
