Santa Cruz Governor secures jobs for 141 former Autofarma workers

In Santa Cruz, Governor Claudio Vidal has secured employment continuity for 141 former workers of Autofarma. Following the decision by Autofarma owners to close their locations and dismiss staff, the governor intervened to coordinate a solution to preserve jobs.

Four pharmaceutical companies—Prisma, Calpex, Farma Express, and Stock Médico S.A.—have committed to incorporating the 141 workers into their operations. These companies will assume the ongoing activity and must now proceed with formalizing the new labor relationships. While efforts are underway to accelerate the reincorporation process, economic claims related to the previous employment relationship will continue through the appropriate legal channels.
