Santa Cruz leaders to meet over fuel crisis

The Comité pro Santa Cruz has scheduled an assembly for Wednesday at 16:00 to address the growing fuel crisis in the Santa Cruz department of Bolivia. Stello Cochamanidis, president of the committee, stated that the meeting will bring together social, productive, and provincial representatives to define actions against the shortage of diesel and gasoline.

The primary goal is to find viable solutions to prevent the paralysis of economic and productive activities. Cochamanidis warned that the lack of diesel poses a significant threat to agricultural activities, which could subsequently impact the national food supply. He emphasized that the productive sector requires immediate solutions to maintain operations.
