Santa Cruz Province upgrades heating at Las Heras primary school
The Santa Cruz provincial government, through the Provincial Education Council (CPE), completed a full renovation of the heating system at Primary School No. 64 in Las Heras. The project installed seven new air‑handling units, boilers and thermotanks, replacing the previous equipment to improve thermal comfort for students and staff during the winter term.
The upgrade is part of a broader corrective and preventive maintenance plan that aims to modernise school infrastructure across the province. Education Minister Iris Rasgido, regional education director María Magdalena Paredes, school director María Valeria Mortara and CPE technical staff inspected the new system and confirmed its readiness for the upcoming academic cycle.
