Santa Eulària des Riu hosts Temps d’Or 2026 for seniors

The Santa Eulària des Riu City Council is hosting the Temps d’Or 2026 program to commemorate the International Day of Older Persons. The initiative is organized in collaboration with Sa Taula des Majors, a municipal body that brings together representatives from elderly clubs across five parishes and the Social Welfare department to coordinate activities and improve quality of life for seniors.

The program began on October 1 with a community walk involving participants from all five parishes. This was followed on October 2 by a roundtable discussion titled ‘Envellir amb sentit’ (Aging with Meaning) held at the Centre Cultural de Jesús. The event, moderated by journalist Maria Roig, focused on reflections regarding the aging process. Upcoming scheduled activities for October 4 include theater, music, and ballroom dancing.
