Santa Fe advances construction of four new bridges
The Government of Santa Fe is nearing the completion of four new concrete bridges on Provincial Route 98s, located between Moussy and La Sarita in the General Obligado department. The project, which has reached 98% progress, involves replacing century-old wooden structures over the El Rey stream with modern concrete infrastructure to improve safety and transitability in a strategic regional corridor.
The provincial government has invested over 11 billion pesos in the project. Current works are focused on finishing access points, protecting embankments from erosion, installing joints and metal railings, and conducting graveling tasks. If weather conditions permit, the province expects to conclude the works during September.
Public Works Minister Lisandro Enrico stated that the project is fundamental for connectivity and production in the northern part of the province. Pablo Seghezzo, general administrator of the Provincial Road Directorate, confirmed that the structural components are complete and the project is moving into the final complementary stages.
