Santa Fe and UNICEF expand childhood development programs
The Government of Santa Fe and UNICEF are implementing territorial strategies through the United Municipality for Childhood and Adolescence (MUNA) program. This initiative aims to reach more than 470,000 children and adolescents across the province.
Six municipalities—Santa Fe, Rafaela, Rosario, Reconquista, Venado Tuerto, and Vera—have been recognized for their participation, while nine others, including Ceres, El Trébol, Esperanza, Firmat, Las Parejas, Roldán, San Justo, San Javier, and Villa Ocampo, have begun training workshops. The program focuses on data collection and improving the efficiency of social programs to ensure effective use of provincial and municipal funds.
In Villa Elisa, Entre Ríos, the municipality is also strengthening early childhood monitoring through the MUNA agreement. The city has joined the Early Childhood Development (DIT) program, which promotes quality interventions for vulnerable sectors. Local teams are undergoing training to conduct surveys and home visits for families with children under three years old to support integral development through concrete data.
