Santa Fe announces new sports infrastructure for South American Games

Governor Maximiliano Pullaro has announced the construction of a multipurpose indoor stadium in Venado Tuerto, Santa Fe. The project aims to replicate models used in Rosario, Santa Fe, and Rafaela for the South American Games. The facility is expected to accommodate approximately 3,000 seated spectators, with a capacity of up to 6,000 for large-scale events such as concerts and cultural activities. The infrastructure will support various disciplines, including futsal, volleyball, padel, gymnastics, and boxing.

In a separate development, the provincial government has inaugurated a modern athletics track and improvements to the High Performance Sports Center (CARD) in the city of Santa Fe. These works are part of a broader series of 21 infrastructure projects completed to prepare the region for the upcoming South American Games. Officials emphasized that these developments serve as a long-term legacy for the province's sporting and cultural landscape.
