Santa Fe government announces salary increases for state workers
The Government of Santa Fe has announced that the complementary payment for the first stage of the collective bargaining agreement for state workers will be available in accounts this Saturday. The official liquidation is scheduled for next Tuesday.
The payment includes a 2% increase for July, with a minimum of $80,000. This measure aims to compensate workers whose salary increases fell below the accumulated inflation of the first half of the year. For police and penitentiary personnel, the payment also includes an adjustment to the guaranteed minimum income, based on the Total Basic Basket for a four-person household as measured by INDEC.
Increases scheduled for the second half of the year are expected to reach up to 15.5%, bringing the total annual recomposition to approximately 36%. Starting in August, the agreed-upon increases will be integrated into the regular monthly payroll.
