Santa Fe Governor meets with National Security Minister to coordinate security plans

Santa Fe Governor Maximiliano Pullaro met with National Security Minister Alejandra Monteoliva in Buenos Aires to evaluate joint security efforts and plan future objectives. The meeting, which included provincial Justice and Security Minister Pablo Cococcioni, focused on reviewing the results of the 'Plan Bandera' and coordinating strategies to reduce crime through anticipation and planning.

A primary focus of the discussion was the security preparations for the 2026 South American Games. Pullaro emphasized the need to strengthen public security, enhance force training, and develop intelligence capabilities to manage the international event.

Looking ahead, authorities are planning for 2027, specifically targeting the period between December and March through coordinated efforts between federal forces, the Santa Fe Police, and the Penitentiary Service. The provincial government intends to continue its current security policies to combat violence in major urban centers and deepen criminal investigations.
