Santa Fe accelerates infrastructure works for 2026 South American Games
The province of Santa Fe is accelerating infrastructure preparations for the XIII South American Games, scheduled for September 12–26, 2026. The event is expected to host over 4,000 athletes from 15 countries across 43 sports.
Key developments include the inauguration of the Invencible Velodrome in Rafaela, a UCI-standard facility featuring a 250-meter indoor track built with Norwegian pine. In the capital city, a new Mondo Class 1 synthetic athletics track is being installed at the Pedro Candioti High Performance Center, a surface identical to that used at the Paris 2024 Olympics.
