Santa Fe infrastructure projects advance with new road openings and repairs

Infrastructure projects are underway in the Santa Fe province of Argentina to improve regional road connectivity and safety.

In Ramallo, Mayor Mauro Poletti announced the opening of the first completed section of Route 1001, stretching from Provincial Route 51 to De Zavaleta Street. The project involved an investment of approximately 200 million pesos for road formation, drainage, and stabilization. Due to ongoing construction and drainage adjustments, the roadway is currently narrower and restricted to light vehicles, such as cars, trucks, and motorcycles. Heavy transport is prohibited until the road reaches definitive settlement. Work will now move toward the section connecting to Villa General Savio.

Simultaneously, the provincial government has begun repairing and repaving a 6-kilometer stretch of Provincial Route 83s near the access to La Gallareta in the Vera department. The project includes LED lighting, signage, and shoulder reinforcement. According to Public Works Minister Lisandro Enrico and DPV Administrator Pablo Seghezzo, the works involve structural recycling and new asphalt application in heavily damaged areas, while utilizing localized patching and fissure sealing in better-preserved sections.
