Santa Fe launches dancer call for Cosquín 2027 festival
The Government of Santa Fe, through its Ministry of Culture, has launched a call for dancers to join the Santa Fe Delegation for the 2027 Cosquín National Folklore Festival in Córdoba. Applications are open from September 28 to October 11.
Selection will involve a pre-registration process followed by in-person auditions held in five cities: Santa Fe, Rosario, Venado Tuerto, Avellaneda, and Sunchales. To participate, applicants must be over 18 years old and have verifiable residency in the province of Santa Fe. Registration is conducted via the provincial government’s “Atención Virtual” system.
The artistic theme for the 2027 performance is “Santafesinas: historias de mujeres que hacen historia” (Santa Fe women: stories of women making history). This production aims to highlight the role of women in constructing the province's identity and culture through music and poetry. The project is led by Marcelo “Tatú” Díaz, with choreographic direction by Mariano D’Luraschi and Lorena Concari, and musical direction by Clara Bertolini.
